The digital files purchased or included in your package are “Web Ready” images that are authorized for your personal use. They are “watermarked” with a transparent logo from the artist. These files can be posted to your personal Blog, Facebook, MySpace or Email accounts. These files cannot be used in commercial advertising or resold for another’s use. Print Ready files are NOT included in any package.
You may purchase a copyright to print your digital images up to a quality 5x7 for an additional $175.
To purchase the high quality files suitable for larger print sizes, add $500.
If you decide to purchase print rights to your images, you will have permission to print them at a local professional photo lab chosen by the photographer. Legacy Photo has established relationships with local professional labs and will contact them with your client information and/or images authorizing copyright permission. It’s important for you to realize that color and image quality will differ drastically between labs. Legacy Photography has chosen these labs for you because they are trusted and professional. We do not want our work to be printed by a consumer lab that will not take the care to produce quality products. Every image we create bears our name and represents us. Price lists to these labs are available upon request.
Important Notice about COPYRIGHT protection: The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of the photograph the exclusive right to reproduce your photographs. This includes the right to control the making of copies. It is illegal to copy or reproduce the images we produce for you anywhere else without our permission. Violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. We will try to accommodate all reasonable requests.
